P prophet6 Registered Jan 7, 2003 #2 tried both webmin (http://localhost:10000/) and Post.office (http://localhost:9090/) and both worked fine.....

symphonix Scratch & Sniff Committee Jan 7, 2003 #3 MS IE had the same quirk. In some, but not all cases, the localhost keyword wouldn't work. You could get around it by substituting 127.0.0.1 instead. Weird ...

T theed Registered Jan 7, 2003 #6 localhost brought up my web server's home page with no pictures. Just the html. 127.0.0.1 brought up the whole thing just fine. Including translucent png's. yay.
