When safari is first started, the bookmarks menu takes 3 or so seconds before it's displayed. I'm assuming that it's reading the little favicons into memory or something because this is a onetime delay.
Still, I think it's pretty annoying and would've preferred this to have been loaded along with the rest of the program. It "feels" quicker that way, to have the bookmarks appear instantly.
Can this be fixed by the user, maybe through some sort of applescript?
