Safari - Bookmarks Vanish!

Hey out there,
So I was away from my Mac for a while... came back and Safari was gone from the dock (?). So I put it back in the dock and opened it and noticed that all of my bookmarks were gone! Not one of my 100ish bookmarks was left. What could have happened? Could they still be on my hard drive? Where can I look?

Are you running out of hard drive space?
Are you using File Vault?

Your Bookmarks should be here;

user>library>Safari - Bookmark.plist

If that file is there, drag it out, restart and put it back and see if they show up.

If the file isn't there, do a Find for it.
