safari browser identification

is there a way i can trick different sites into thinking safari is ie or netscape? some sites piss me off cuz they assume safari is outdated because its not one of these so they won't feed me the page.

Go into the terminal... and you need to type something I forget and then a debug menu will appear in Safari, then you go down to whatever one you want. I'll get the terminal text later.
