Safari by mistake displaying nonlatin fonts?

I have a problem with Safari displaying fonts in a different eh, encoding? Now it is set to Western (Iso latin 1) , i never changed that but a html file ive got locally and some sites just look like its chinese of russian or whatever. I got all these strange symbols
When i copy and paste the text into textedit it looks just fine

It looked good the day before...hm...a virus?...new settings? another safari update?

I use version 1.2.1 (v125.1)
 
yes it is and soem pages look fine some dont.

maybe its the charset of the html page? its charset =iso-8859-1
 
that charset would be fine.
can you post some links to the sites your safari sees wrong, maybe it happesn to hte others as well?
