When I try to login to certain sites in SSL, Safari complains. Take PayPal for example. Their certificate is up-to-date, why give me a warning message?
The warning states:
============
Safari can't verify the identity of the website "www.paypal.com".
The certificate for this website is invalid. You could be connecting to a website pretending to be "www.paypal.com".
=================
I never click on a link in an email to login to PayPal. I always type in the URL.
I do not have this problem with Firefox.
