Safari default font size?

Does anyone know how to set the default text size in Safari?

For every new window that opens I have to hit the 'decrease font size' button.

I have had a play around in the preferences with the font sizes there but it doesn't seem to affect anything

Any ideas anyone?

off the subject, but has anyone noticed that when you open fonts, in this case font reserve, some sites pick a site and use it as default, like Google. Makes it impossible to read when the font is a design font, not meant for heavy body type. Just something i noticed.
