Safari missing plug-in

I need to print a review off of blackboard. I click the link, but it tells me missing plugin. I click missing plugin then more info i download the adobe reader, install it restart browser, and the same message pops up. I don't know what to do. I tried firefox same thing happens
please help thanks

Adobe no longer provides a PDF plug-in for Safari, as far as I know.

Blackboard currently recommends the Schubert IT PDF plug-in:

The current version of the AdobePDFViewer.plugin is Version 10.1.1. This is the latest update of the version installed as part of the Adobe Acrobat X Pro suite. I assume that is also included in Adobe Reader X.
