Safari not playing .wmv and .wma files

I am designing a website with iWeb. I am linking to Windows Media audio and video files. On my PC, the files play with no problem. On my Mac, no such luck. I do have Windows Media Player installed on my Mac. And, the Windows Media Player application launches when I select the link. However, I get an error message that says:
The specified stream type is not recognized.

Can you help me work around this glitch?
 
Try downloading Flip4Mac. It will automatically play all Windows Media Player files using QuickTime and it's free. It works perfectly with audio and video (I use it myself).
