Safari...please Help!

I've got a Safari crisis boys & girls. I recently tried out 'Safaricon' and didn't like it. It kept doing odd things to my Safari & wouldn't let me switch back to the default so I binned it. My Safari was still odd so I binned everything off my powerbook relating to Safari & now I can't re-install it! The instalation process fails at the 'Select Destination' stage. I'm presented with the 'hard-drive with an exclamation mark' icon and told that I 'cannot install this software on this volume. This system cannot use this software'. What have I done? Please help me.
 
Where did you get the installer, Apple.com? What O.S. are you running, Panther? You need Safari 1.1.1 for 10.3.2 which is not available as a download. You might have to re-install your OS to get Safari back. New SafarIcon roX!
 
You don't have to reinstall your OS to get Safari back. Just use Pacifist to extract the appropriate .pkg file from your installer CD.
