Safari plug-in problems

goonies never say die
I was wondering if there is a simple answer to a problem that I've been having for a while. On occasion I go to the Screensavers site on TechTV and they post video highlights from the show. When I click on the link, it says "Plug-in not supported: This page has plug-in content that Safari does not support. The application “Windows Media Player” may be able to display this content. Would you like to try?" And so then I click OK, and the Windows Media Player then automatically launches. I'm running OS 10.2.8 on a MDD 1GHz G4. Is there a plug-in out there that I don't have or does a Windows Media Player Plug-in even exist for Safari?

Thanks

Download and install Windows Media Player 9 at THIS PAGE . Puts the Plug-in in the /Library folder, so you would need to logout and log in again to have the pug-in recognized the first time. It's Microsoft, so it may not cure everything, (some Win Media Player formats are not recognized, go figure! ) You'll get past the plug-in not supported message then.
