Safari problem

Since a while Safari is going crazy 'cause it's downloading things when I don't want to. For instance: when I see a small jpg thumnail I'd like to open to watch the big version it will instantly dl it. Or a .php file has to open in a new window? No way! Safari just dl's it. Tried to solve it in preferences, but I see no way how to do it. Any suggestions?

I'd try resetting Safari. It's under the Safari menu.

Before you do so, locate your Bookmarks file (Users/[you]/Library/Safari/bookmarks.plist) & move it to the desktop. As it's not likely the culprit, you can move it back after you reset Safari and still have your bookmarks.

Tried a reset, but didn't help. So what now?

Have you tried to delete the Plist?

Which one do you mean, the Safari.plist? Tried that one, but it didn't help.

Yes, that is what I met. Not sure of a solution. More than likely, some one will offer one.
