I've started having a strange issue on my late 08 MBP today:
Some pages (so far some of facebook and some of google finance) return a pure white blank page in the browser. The progress bar behind the URL does it's normal stuff with pauses and delays while it does stuff in the background and then just nothing but white.
Initially not a single thing under finance.google.com worked, I cleared all my cookies and then some of it worked (home page works, individual stock tickers work_ but some features still do this (eg: clicking on individual posts about a stock).
I'm 100% sure this is not a network issue as I've tested safari and firefox side by side. Firefox always works.
I've check and there are no new updates to download.
Any ideas? My first thought in a windows world would be that this is some sort of malware but I've not found any recent posts of any activity on that front.
