Safari running slowly

Is it my Mac or Safari that is the problem? Every website comes up so slowly now on Safari. I have emptied the cache, but it doesn't help. My husband is working next to me on his PC and his sites come up instantly, so its not our internet connection.
I have a G5 tower.
 
Let's clear your System Cache to see if it helps. Download either Yasu or Onyx and run all the cleaning routines. when the program reboots your Mac immediately manually reboot again to completely rebuild your startup/shutdown cache. This should help in your problem.
