Safari updated (0.8.2)

Someone who likes Safari and updates it, please tell if it has any real changes or improvements. :)

Yup, CSS hovering links are fixed. :) No more links that forget to snap back to the normal state.

Also: My TV programme site now remembers me. :)

It also seems a bit faster and I lately seemed to see some memory leak when Safari was running. My machine's back in a better state now. :)

...and I lately seemed to see some memory leak when Safari was running.

i have suspected as much as well. i never have been able to prove it was safari but it seemed the most likely culprit a few times. glad to know that i'm not the only one who experienced this. hopefully this version has sealed it.

iCab is soooo slow as the second browser (that i need for one site only) that .. if I can now see correctly one password protected site, I'll throw iCab and use safari as my second then. As I couldn't see that site well I stuch to Chimera - iCab ... :)

Safari's update fixed all of the bugs that I reported... anyone still having problems?

I haven't tested a Flash enabled website yet... I'll have to do that next.

Wow, I just noticed that Safari now has right click abilities. One of them is being able to automatically search Google with whatever word you highlight. I hope this is new anyway, I would be really upset if I was clueless for a month+ already!

Still have problems? Oi.

Does Safari honestly work on macosx.com for all of you? Any time I try to visit this site with Safari, I get constantly redirected to the 'you are not logged in, please enter you username and password' page. Like every fourth mouse click or so. And when I try to post and get redirected to that page, the posting is lost (granted that's a flaw in the site software, not Safari, but still)

actually it's got to do with getting the cookies adjusted right. i had problems with safari learning to accept and send the proper cookies and use passwords effectively. but something is wrong at your end scruffy if it doeasn't work after a couple of trys and telling it to remember password.

Still have troubles with updated swf files (Flash). If I update an external textfile which is loaded in the flashmovie, it will still show the old one! Even after restarting Safari (even if that sounds exotic!) ;)

Serious bug, have to empty the cache first!
