Samsung ML-1250 trouble

I have purchased a Samsung ML-1250 laser b/w USB printer few days ago.
I just can't use this machine correctly.

The printed document doesn't fit on the paper when printing under OSX 10.3.1, so that it is one inch lower on the paper as it should be (the bottom is not on the paper, it is missing).

And under OS 9.2.2 after installing the driver sometimes I get extension related error during the startup - if I turn off the ml-1250 extension this problem doesn't appear. And even if it is working and my iMac can start up, the print is quite ?buggy? sometimes (lines and characters I did not planed to be there on the paper)

I have tried CUPS and Gimp-print, but I do not know anything about these, so it did not help a lot.

Can someone help me to solve this problem?

(And sorry about my poor english...)

Contact Samsung for possible updated drivers. The only drivers available are those to download from Samsung. There are updated drivers on THIS PAGE Check for Mac OS 10.2, with your language, download and see if there is any improvement.
The printer manufacturers do not always go quickly to upgrade drivers for discontinued models, but you could return to that same page to check at a later date for possible updates for Panther.

I'm in contact with Samsung. I wrote three or four e-mails and they always answered but nothing really happened. So I was thinking if someone knows here...
But thanks for your answer!
