\"Save as Disk Image\" in iDVD

Hi!

I have a Mac iBook G4 and an external LaCie Dual Layer DVD Burner. I made a movie that is 5GB, over the maximum 4.7 for a single-layer. I read on the Apple website that iDVD does not recognize external DL burners; it will only burn a dual layer in an internal DL Superdrive. I should still be able to use the "Save as a Disk Image" option and then use Toast to make the DVD. However, when I tried the "Save as Disk Image" option, it still tells me that my file exceeds the maximum burning capacity.

I tried a French program recommended on some discussion boards, but it still didn't work. Can you please help me to "Save as a Disk Image"?

I have all the up-to-date versions of LaCie software and iDVD, so that should not be part of the problem.

Thanks,
Jen
