Save As Navigator Window Problem

OS 10.4.8 on Mac G4.

When in an application and I go to SAVE AS and view in the DETAIL mode, the window is all messed up. The folders used to be on the Left side and all the other information on the right. The window seems to have flipped horizontally where the folders are now on the right side; and the folders do not all show up. Also, when I click on a folder it highlights several lines.

Per a suggestion on another forum i went to the Home Folder Library/Preferences/com.aple.systemuiserver.plist, moved to desktop and rebooted. This did not help.

I have searched everywhere and have not found a solution.

Can you take a screenshot of this (apple-shift-3)? I'm not exactly sure what you're describing.

can you just drag the "name" column to the left again?

No I cannot drag back to the left field
