Save my recordable cds!

Hello all,

I am recording my own songs at the moment I am trying garageband.....
I can export to itunes ok as an aiff.

but I want to convert to an mp3 without having to burn a cd for one track and then import to itunes to make the mp3.

I cannot find an application to do it for my G4 ppc osx 10.3.9 any suggestions welcome.

ok guys stand down resolved using itunes.... select the aiff and then check menus to convert to mp3 item unavailable until aiff selected

Yep, and in fact that 'convert to' command will change depending on what encoder is selected in the iTunes preferences. I leave mine of 192 aac so for me it says "Convert to AAC".
