Hey People

I want a scanner that can do photo negatives (35mm) which also
works with OS X (Native)

Any advice

It depends on how good of a scan you want.
There's many on the market right now but
you can spend $200 - $2000

Im not after a full on production style scanner, just something that will let me scan negatives so I get a picture of similar or higher quality to a 3megapixel digital shot

will you be making prints of these pics too?

if you like to scan regular print matter and spend less than $300, I recommend Epson 1200 series scanners. many come with a transparency adapter built in. It's fast and you can get an Epson Twain beta for OS X download from epsondevelopers.com although it's not officially out. It works with my 1200S SCSI scanner even.

And download VueScan from versiontracker.com. It does a better job scanning than most software that comes with the scanners.
