My scanner is not recognized by my iMac running OS x10.2.8. When I check in "about this Mac" in the apple menu, it shows the scanner installed. I have tried unplugging the scanner, restarting the computer, reinstalling the scanner installation software. I thought that maybe the problem was the scanner, but this is the second scanner I installed. The first was a HP 6100 printer, scanner, fax. This was working fine, until it just stopped, on day, and the message about the scanner not being installed appeared. That was why I installed the Epson but the problem remained. By the way, I got the latest installation software from Epson website for my OS. Any help would be appreciated.
