School iMac G3 - Restart Computer

Is this the typical "kernel panic" screen, or some other error? Have you done the typical troubleshooting things (repair disk, repair permissions, swap out non-Apple RAM, etc.)?

Please provide more information (a LOT more). Any recent software additions? How long has this been happening? What's the last change you made to the computer before it exhibited this problem? Any hardware upgrades? Any reason it's not running the latest verison of the OS (10.3.9)?

Since it's a school computer I dont exactly know why it is 10.3.5. The eMacs are 10.3.6. It's the typical "You need to restart your computer" in about 5 different languages. "Press and hold ther power button or press the restart button."

I will try to run an Apple Hardware Test on it.

Sounds good -- without knowing more about the computer, that's a pretty tough one to troubleshoot. It could be anything from hardware to software to peripherals (USB, perhaps?)...

I'll have to do more tomorrow. The first post was short because the bell was about to ring and I needed to get it done quick :o.
