screen capture

Can someone tell me how to make screen capturing in Mac OSX? What key combo do I use or must I use a 3rd party software.

... same as always: apple-shift-3 for fullscreen, apple-shift-4 for a definable portion of the screen ...

One that's missing (the one I used over 90% of the time) is cmd-shift-4 with caps lock down!! This one turns cursor into bulleye and takes screenshot of whatever window you click on.
