screen noise????? HELP!

I started up my computer and I have screen noise (little black lines that surround the cursor and spread out all over the screen. I did a test in tech tools and the only error I got was "unsupported (32770) in the video memory? I also noticed when I restart or start up my fan doesn't come on like I usually does. Is my graphics card shot? Please help!!!
 
That's usually a problem with the video card.
Which Mac do you have?
If you have a separate vid card (G5 tower, MacPro, or older G4 PowerMac) try reseating the card.
 
I have a Power Mac G4, I use it mainly for internet and small apps. I have another tower but you will have to excuse my ignorance to your response about resetting the card. How would I do that? Thank you for the help.
 
Reseating the video card:
Open the side door
Find the video card, and remove it from its slot
Reseat that card in its same slot. Make sure it is fully seated.

Reminder: Turn OFF your Mac and unplug the power cord before you do this.

This may not help at all, but is a good troubleshooting step.
