I just had to post this!

For all of those out their complaining about Mac OS X's deficiencies. Check out this shot. Here is my config:

PowerBook 300 (black keyboard) 192MB RM OSX Build 4L7

What is impressive about this shot is not only would this be impossible under OS 9, but that it is actually usable (after the 20 min wait is take to launch all the apps) I am actually writing this with all the applications you see running and am see nominal effect.

I took a high quality Mac OS X screen shot. I also made 3 lower quality versions of it for those who want to preview it first, before downloading the TIFF, which is about 1.6 MB in size.

I thought it was fun to open up as many carbon/cocoa apps I got, and see what the system does. This is in the fashion of a'me.

I'm running on a Power Macintosh G3 333 MHz (Beige).

Actually, I was up pretty late that day. Didn't go to sleep till after 7 am that morning. But I'm on a regular sleeping schedule now. I only did it, because it was the weekend. But thanks
