Screensaver clock not fuworking

I've enabled the "Show with Clock" option in the Mac OS X Screensaver menu. While the correct hour is displayed, the minutes are always 08. Whether the time is 7:00 or 7:59, the screensaver clock will always display 7:08. I've tried different screensavers and enabling/disabling the "Show with Clock" option to no avail. The menu bar clock works fine
