Scrolling problem...

Hello,

I just turned in my Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard back to my old job, and now when I use my girl's Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard, it doesn't appear that she has the deceleration in two-finger trackpad scrolling.

I have been researching this for about a half hour, and modifying the limited scrolling options.... and found nothing.

How do I enable this dampered/decelerated (like the iphone) scrolling?


Any help is appreciated.

Depending on your girlfriend's MacBook Pro model, that functionality may just not be available at all.

What exact model and year is your girlfriend's MBP?

A1278 is the model. 2009 is the year. (black keyboard)... The OSX version is 10.6.4.

Any ideas?

Looks like it should support it... follow the link below for information, and ensure that you've installed the required update for that feature:

There may also be some options in the "Trackpad" section of the System Preferences related to inertial scrolling.
