Does anyone know of any application for submitting websites to search engines. I am looking for an OSX app to do so.

I am a web designer and use all mac. . . cant stand using PCs

Please help.

All search engines have links to submit your site. You have to look hard for it, as the links are usually very small and almost hidden, but you have to do it from the search engine.

They make software that you can optimize sites and also register with 100s of search engines at one time.

for PCs its called web position Gold.

Is there anything for a mac like this? There has to be.

Thanks for this excellent information. Magicmusic highest position was 6 place at Yahoo. I have now found a new very rich audience.
Answering your question there is one userfriendly with unlimited use for 40 searchengines at macmusic.org, if you want more you have to pay.

Try this... never tried it so can't say how good it is (and it was submitted in 2001, so dunno if it even exists anymore!)

i got v excited about this (bcz VSE haven't made a carbon version of vsebefound) but it's v diff to use, full of bugs, the interface is ugly, the search engine list is illegible and the sound effects are horrendous

The developers 2 websites are down, and the copyright notice says 2001 so I'm guessing that the app is not currently in development.

any other thoughts?

was this macmusic.org app the same one of a diff one? if diff, what was the other one called?

thx
