We have updated our iMacs to OS X 10.5.6 and since doing that we have lost our search function from apple f and are unable to search anything from our servers. Obviously this update has a bug so does anyone know how to sort this out?

So you can't find things on your server? Are you still connected to the server? What is the server running? Do you still see the server in the Finder side bar?
 
Yes we are still connected to the servers and we can manually search through files, but it seems that the search function can't see our servers. We are running an Apple XServe 10.3.9. and since updating a couple of our macs to 10.5.6 this function has stopped working.
