Call me stupid, but it wasnt until today, after over half an year of bitching over the lack of this feature, that i realised how to select several items in Finder and iPhoto that wasn't right next to eachother. i was so blinded by the use of different shift-combinations, that i never thought of the apple-key, until my father did it by misstake.
