"send to a friend" button

I have been asked to make amends to a (static) website, and one of the requests is a "send to a friend button". The site has many articles on it, and I would like to minimise the amount of work required. The client wants each button to link to the specific article, with several articles on a scrolling page.

Does anybody know a workaround for this... eg. a handy bit of javascript (or something), linking to anchor tags?
