First of all sorry for my bad English.
I have this problem, I use an iMac G5 1.6 GHz with MacOS X 10.3 installed and I have to send a fax directly from this computer for my work. The fax program (Fax STF 10.5 or the internal fax program of Panther) works fine, the problem is when I want to send a fax to an answering machine that must understand if the incoming call is a voice call or a fax call. The problem is that the answering machine usually don't understand that my call is a fax call and so I am not able to send the fax.
The problem isn't the OS, I also try to install Tiger and It still don't work, any suggestion?
Can I change the initialization string?
The fact is that an iMac G3 with 10.3 works find also with the answering machine, so the problem isn't the line.
Thanks in advance.
