Server applications

Hey guys, i was wondering if any of you know some good server applications, i used to run Serv-u on my pc, so i tryed google for some apps but didnt find anything good. So if some of you know a smimilar app for Mac´s please let me know
 
What do you mean by server applications? What do you want to use your server to do? Which is the OS of your server?
 
I mean a server app like Serv-U witch lets you setup a ftp and manage accounts. On windows xp i used that when ever i had to send big files, cause i dont want to send a couple of 100Mb over msn, cause that will take forever.

And serv-u let the ones downloading from me pause and resume theire downloads.

Also i ran this with a dyndns.org account

but i cant use serv-u now cause there is no version for mac.
 
If i can set up user acctounts and set directories and restrictions, im all for that app, i will go check it out now and see if it does the things i want.
