Serving a VPN from OS10.2/10.3

Is it possible to serve a VPN on my mac at home [10.2/10.3] is i can connect to it from my work [win Xp]?
Do I need special hardware or is it just software that can do the trick?
I have my mac behind an ADSL-router with NAPT.

VPN *can* be implemented with software. However, the only way I, personally, know of to host VPN on a Mac is to use OS X Server 10.3.x (it's included).

I'd bet there are other ways, though.

Well, OS X has got a vpn daemon - check the man page for vpnd for a starting point, but it looks pretty sketchy

Looks like they got pptp working, but were having a hard time with l2tp/ipsec
