Setting Email program of choice as default?

I use Entourage for my primary e-mail program but the default program seems to be the apple MAIL program. If I want to send an attachment through Word, it defaults to using the MAIL program. How do I set up entourage for my default?

Please could you be more specific? Before posting and just now, I have searched all parts of the preferences both for mail and entourage, and cannot find the place where I set to default. I have set default programs in my previous computers, so I can see the set up is different with my I-MAC OSX 10.4.7 (as far as I can tell.)

Open the Mail app.
Open the Mail Menu to Preferences
Click on the General tab

Default Email Reader - set to Entourage
