Setting up a Carracho server over AirPort.

Barking at the moon.
Okay, here it goes. I'm trying to just setup a simple carracho server so friends and I can transfer files and what-not. I've gotten it installed and even configured, but I'm not sure if others can use it. I can't connect to it using my real IP, I have to use my IP that my AirPort BaseStation gave me. So, I guess I'm asking if anyone else can connect to it? I'll be leaving it on for the remainder of the night.

IP's: 65.5.143.169 or 10.0.1.39

Thanks to anyone for helping me out here :)

Have you routed this service to the "outside world"??? The Airport station works like a router, and if you want to share a intranet service with the extranet, you have to route either the complete IP or only the needed port.

Use the AirPort Admin Utility to edit the base station. When you go to edit, go to Port Mapping. Set the public port to whatever port Carracho uses, set the private IP address to your LAN address (10.0.1.39, I assume), and then set private port to the same port you used for public. If you don't have Admin privs on the base station, try to get the admin to do it, otherwise you're screwed...as far as I know.
