Setting up a pre-owned Airport Extreme base station

Hi - I just picked up a pre-owned Airport Express base station from Amazon and the vendor gave me excellent service - I am trying to set it up using the set up assistant but it already has settings logged in there that are password protected. Though I have asked the guy for the network password to get in and set it up afresh is there any way to zap the thing and get it to act like an unused unit?

I have tried pressing the small reset button but it doesn't do anything.

All suggestions/help appreciated.
