I have AT&T, and recently ordered high speed internet service from them. I have a Macbook Pro (circa 2006) and a 2Wire 2701HG Gateway. I can connect to the internet with my ethernet cable no problem. When I go into System Preferences->network, Airport recognizes my network, but says "AirPort is connected to the network ___. Airport does not have an IP address and cannot connect to the Internet. "
