The up to date program only works to those who buy the computer now.

Now all my 10.1 up to date coupons are totally useless.

If you have a mac dealer in your area, chances are they'll just give you the update disk. I don't think apple actually collects the up-to-date coupons from them... they didn't even ask me for one with 10.1.
 
fine so retail is 129$. i can accept that. and new computers get it for free, that makes sense as well.

what about 10.1 buyers who have coupons which they never got to use???? i think we should be able to use it - at least offer us some kind of discount.... that os x 10.2 cd will be on hotline immediately, which is a shame.

can anyone clear this up? ( i have a feeling apple already is offering discounts to coupon holders.... so lets kill this rumor early)
