Share email database?

For some unforeseeable reason.... I can not get entourage to work properly while traveling through China. All of my SMTP settings are 100% correct. I can receive email anywhere...but I can only send email in very few locations.

My colleague is able to send using a PC with Outlook / Windows Mail anywhere with no problems...using same exact settings.

I was thinking of trying to utilize my bootcamp partition by making a shared database for emails. I can run Entourage in 10.4 while in Hong Kong. When traveling thru China I can boot in XP and run Outlook or something.

Question is:
Is it possible to have a shared database for emails between XP and 10.4?
Which programs should I use?
Where should I have the programs save the database to?

the entourage mail database is not compatible with outlook on xp. so you'd need to export your mail and import it into outlook. since entourage uses standard mail protocols to send eMail there is no reason why outlook would be able to send and entourage wouldn't. are you trying to send mail wirelessly via a "hot spot"? if so who is your mail provider? are you sending via SSL or some other type of authenticated send? are you VPN'd in to a corporate network of some sort before sending? lastly... what is the error message that entourage gives you when it can't send.
