Share files with WinXP, easiest way?

I'm sharing an dynamic internet connection with my colleague through a mini hub/switch. He's on PC, I'm on mac (10.2). What is the easiest way for us to share certain files?

Setup Sharing on both machines. On the Mac, turn on Windows File Sharing also. Use the Sharing Preference Pane.

Then use the Go Menu>Connect to Server

As long as you're both on the same intranet, turn on Windows File Sharing for the particular folder or drive (with a right-click you can see the option). You'd need to setup a user on the PC who will have access to that folder/drive. Then, on the Mac, simply select "Connect to Server" from the "Go" menu. The PC will show up in the dialog. Double-click it, enter your username and password (that you set up on the PC), and you're in.

Don't bother setting up FileSharing on your Mac; it's not necessary as you're going into the PC.

Thanks a lot!

How to connect to this particular folder automatically (desktop - the one that I share from Windows) each time i log on to my Mac?

Mount your folder, then drag it's icon to the Login Preference Pane.
