how do you get a printer on a os 9 machine to share to a 10.2 machine?

here's the details, I have a 6500 with os 9.1 that has an epson usb printer hooked up to it, and a PB running 10.2 with no usb ports, they are both networked with a linksys router sharing the cable connection. They can both file share, but I can't the the 10.2 machine to recognize the printer... what do I need to do to share that printer?

thanks,

I've got the same problem.

I've got a USB Epson stylus SC740 connected to an iMac running OS 9.1 networked to an iBook running 10.2.3.

With USB printer sharing running on the iMac I can see the printer from the iBook in classic mode, but can't see it from the iBook in the Print Center running 10.2.3. As far as I can see, the Knowledge Base article talks about how to deal with the situation when the printer is connected to the computer running OS X, not the reverse.

Any clues would sure be appreciated.

Bob
