Hi.

I've got an iMac 233 rev B and a PC-GNU/Linux with no modem but with an ethernet card.

I would like to use my iMac internet connection with the Linux ... is it possible ?

My internet connection is a PPP one. So I suppose I could connect the PC only when the Mac is it-self connected. :)
That's not a problem.

The Mac is know by Linux as 10.0.0.2
(Linux is 10.0.0.1).

(My Linux distribution is Mandrake 7.0,
The Mac uses Mac OS X 10.0.4).

Thank you if you've got an idea,
Pierre.

I were thinking about this when I got an idea :

what about Proxys and/or Firewalls on MacOS X client ?

is it the solution ? how to configure them ?

Thank you.
Pierre

It works so well ! very well !

I found a great software at Apple->MacOSX->Downloads : BrickHouse.

It's very useful,easy-to-use and powerful.

Now, I'm sending this post with the Linux.

Have fun,
Pierre.
