Sherlock 3... Did I miss something?

I was away and out of touch for a month recently and after my return, I suddenly found that there is a version 3 of Sherlock!!!

Can somebody tell me how to get it?

I run Mac OS X 10.2.1 on an iBook G3 500 MHz.

Thank you!

Uh..... if you're running 10.2, you have Sherlock 3. It's the on with channels at the top, including "movies" which will give you movies and theatres in your area, a whole ebay channel, and other nifty things. You have it, buddy. Enjoy it! :-)

Thank you so much, adambyte.
It's the first time I post anything and I must tell you, it's a fantastic feeling to realize that I'm not alone in this Mac OS X world.

As for my problem, I must admit that I'm no closer to solving it than I was before.
The fact that my system is in French (I'm from Montréal) does not help me to follow your instructions.

I did make a search for all things "sherlock" on my hard disks and all that popped up concerned Sherlock 1 and Sherlock 2. If, as you seem to imply (and which makes sense), Sherlock 3 is part of Jaguar, is there any possibility to find IT on the Jag installation disks and installing it without having to re-install the whole system?

Thank you in advance for your precious help. I really appreciate it.

Just in case you missed it, please realize that although Sherlock is at version 3, it is simply called just "Sherlock." You might want to try opening that before you start reinstalling. It should be located here on your hard disk...

YourDiskName/Applications/Sherlock

That would be the "Sherlock" in your "Applications" folder, in your Hard Disk.

I wouldn't bother with it if I was you. If you're not in America it's pretty useless. I set it to show just the channels that i could use here in the UK and stocks, movies, yellow pages disappeared. The ebay channel seems to be US ebay only. There is the dictionary, translation, applecare I spose.

Thank you, adambyte!

Indeed, I have Sherlock 3. The problem was that the alias in my dock referred to Sherlock 2 and when I was trying a find anything Sherlock on my disks, they would only return Sherlock 2 and Sherlock (by itself) which I interpreted as being Sherlock 1. Well, I was wrong: it was Sherlock 3.

Thanks again!
