Should I manually update smbd to 3.0.2 ?

I'm running version 3.0.0rc2 but noticed that 3.0.2 is available. For someone who uses samba often, is it advisable to update smbd manually or should I just wait for Apple to release it in a patch (like 10.3.3 or something) ?
