panic: we'll hang here

So basically my first day with X installed. Had it at work all day hooked up to our loacal intranet with no problems. I get it home,.plug it into my home network and reboot, and this shite appears on my screen. This forum was the first thing that came to mind. Does anybody know what it means?

It's a kernel panic - basically the equivalent of a hard crash in OS9. There isn't much you can do about it on your end, other than change your configuration around and keep testing. Apparently a lot of people with MP machines and TiBooks are having panics, if it's any consolation.
