I am trying to hook up my daughters PC to our Mac (DSL). I bought a router and for the love of God can't seem to get it to work on my Mac. Will bless anyone with praises and thanks that can help me to get it to work. PS, I am a a little TC(technologically challenged)
 
I believe the IP is from the manufacturer. I have OSX. I am fairly computer dumb.I can put in the IP when I go to network but not the subnet mask whatever the h*ll that is or the router #...HELP!!
