SimCity 3k

First off, anyone else love this game? I wanted to try SimCity 4, but my poor iMac is too old (time to look at a nice PowerBook ). So, naturally, I turned to SC3.

Only problem is it hangs in Classic 9.2.2, and I know it works under Classic 9.1. Has anyone else had a problem with it using 9.2.2? I'd rather not re-install an older Classic System if I can help it.

I've looked. Sadly, there isn't. Maxis (since being acquired by EA) hasn't been nice to Mac users. Luckily, Aspyr has stepped in.

Some company (Loki, iirc) ported SC3k over to Linux, so it isn't impossible for a Mac OS X version, if only someone would step in and do the dirty work.
