Simple Finder - cant see MS Office

Hello, i have just setup a standard user account on iMac OS 10.4.7. using simple finder in parental controls i selected a few apps i want them to see aswell as word, pp and excel. when i log in to this restricited account everything i want shows up in My Applications folder apart from the Office apps. i have tryed dragging aliases of apps into users/user/libary/managed items/my applications/ with no luck.
I can get these office apps to open in my Admin account and when i use 'Some limits' option in parental controls so its not a problem with office. Anyone have any ides.
 
Double-check the parentla controls and make sure that the Microsoft Office Apps are enabled for your managed user account.
