Skype new account on MacBook

I downloaded Skype for Mac OS X 10.5.6 and I only get the sign-in dialogue, but I have no idea how to set up an account.

There should be a dialog in the initial screen for creating an account. If you don't see that, create an account from https://secure.skype.com/account/ and use that for logging in.
